Kenneth H. Krebs
With thousands of cases handled throughout California, Kenneth H. Krebs
has the legal insight and prowess you need both inside and outside of

As an Alameda County criminal defense lawyer, he has devoted his practice
primarily to criminal defense and immigration cases. Mr. Krebs has handled
nearly every type of criminal case and has served on the Alameda County
court-appointed conflict panel, as well as the Federal Defenders conflicts
panel. In addition, he has argued criminal cases before most of the California
Courts of Appeal.
Among Mr. Krebs' many criminal cases, he represented one of the defendants in
U.S. vs. Blanco. This case was the
largest federal drug conspiracy case ever brought forward to the Federal
Court in California. He has also published two appellate decisions:
People v. Albright and
, the latter which served as the authority for the joyriding jury instruction.
A lifelong resident of Alameda County, Mr. Krebs grew up in Pleasanton
and went to California State University Hayward. He earned his law degree
from the University of San Francisco's School of Law, which is ranked
among the most prestigious law schools in California. During law school,
he clerked for the Honorable Frank Shaw, San Francisco Superior Court,
who was then presiding over the Mitchell Brothers pornography trials.
After law school, he worked for a criminal defense firm in Livermore for
three years before joining forces with his wife,
Leslie R. Karlstrom-Krebs and starting the Law Offices of Karlstrom & Krebs. He prides himself
